Why We Participate
Searcy Denney is a proud sponsor of the 11th annual Pie It Forward event, one of the main sources of revenue for Meals on Wheels Palm Beaches, which provides nourishment to more than 400 homebound seniors each week. Our law firm (more than 150 employees strong) is incredibly proud of our decades of support for hundreds of non-profit organizations and charitable causes in our community. Searcy Denney shareholder and partner Brenda Fulmer is serving as an event Committee Member and will be part of the 5,000+ volunteers and supporters who are part of "Palm Beach County's Biggest and Best Bake Sale." Most of the pies sold by the Searcy Denney Pie It Forward Team this year will be donated to Children's Outreach, Inc., a grassroots organization that provides a wide array of support and services to needy children and their families in Riviera Beach. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Pie It Forward event will support Meals on Wheels, and each pie that is purchased at $30 will provide a week's worth of fresh food to seniors in need. Please join us in "Taking Time to Care" by buying (and tasting) some fabulous pies (donated and prepared by our local culinary superstars) and helping those who need it most during the holidays and throughout the year.
Why Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels of the Palm Beaches, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to nourishing and enriching the lives of homebound seniors in Palm Beach County. Everyday, our caring volunteers prepare and deliver freshly-prepared, nutritious meals to each senior in need. We are more than a meal-providing wellness checks, visits from a friendly face, and a real connection to the outside world.

Pie It Forward Facts
- Pies orders are taken between November 1 - 19 online at mowpbpie.org
- Each individual pie purchase underwrites a weeks’ worth of hot, nutritious meals for a local, homebound senior.
- The Palm Beaches’ most notable chefs from area restaurants, private clubs, and hotels bake and donate the pies we sell.
- Pie Flavors are Apple, Pecan, Pumpkin, and Key Lime Pie.
- Meals on Wheels of the Palm Beaches receives no government funding and relies solely on the generosity of the community to fulfill its mission to end senior hunger.
